  • 400 ml Heavy cream
  • 200 g Dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 60 g Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

Step 1

Place the chopped dark chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl and set aside.

In a saucepan over medium heat, bring 200 ml of the heavy cream to a simmer. Do not let it boil.

Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate. Let sit for 1-2 minutes, then whisk until smooth and fully melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
