Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 pieces large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1.5 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Beat with a hand or stand mixer on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then, mix in the vanilla extract.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 6

Fold in the white chocolate chips and white chocolate chunks using a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 7

Scoop the dough using a tablespoon or cookie scoop onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers look slightly underbaked (they will continue to cook on the baking sheet).

Step 9

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 10

Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy the rich white chocolate goodness!
