Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup Pickapeppa Sauce
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large Yellow onion
  • 4 medium Carrots
  • 3 medium Russet potatoes
  • 3 cloves Minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towels and season all sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer to your crockpot.

Peel and slice the yellow onion into thick rings. Layer the onion slices over the roast in the crockpot.
