Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 15 oz Refried beans
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup Black olives (sliced)
  • 1 cup Green onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup Tomatoes (diced)
  • 0.25 cup Jalapeños (sliced, optional)
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.

Step 2

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom of a 9x13-inch serving dish or deep platter.

Step 3

Heat the refried beans in a small saucepan over low heat until just warm and easy to spread, about 2-3 minutes. Spread the warmed beans evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.

Step 4

Evenly spread the salsa over the refried bean layer, creating the third layer.

Step 5

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese over the salsa layer.

Step 6

Top the cheese layer with sliced black olives, chopped green onions, and diced tomatoes. If you like extra spice, scatter sliced jalapeños on top as well.

Step 7

Chill the layered dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Step 8

Serve the dip chilled or at room temperature alongside a bag of crunchy tortilla chips for dipping.
