  • 24 pieces Whole hazelnuts
  • 75 grams Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Flaky sea salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a dry skillet over medium heat. Add the hazelnuts and toast them for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and let them cool completely.

Use a sharp knife to carefully make a small slit along the length of each Medjool date and remove the pits. Be gentle to ensure the dates remain intact.

Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and melt it using a double boiler or in the microwave (heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth).

Place two toasted hazelnuts inside each pitted date, gently pressing them into the center.
