Ingredients

  • 170 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped

  • 100 grams brown sugar, packed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 95 grams all-purpose flour
  • 30 grams cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 120 grams dried cherries
  • 50 grams dark chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a 20cm x 20cm (8-inch square) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

In a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, melt the butter and chopped dark chocolate together, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
