Directions

Step 1

Wash the broccoli florets, kale, and spinach thoroughly under cold water, and set them aside to drain.

Fill a large pot with about 2 inches of water and place a steamer basket inside. Make sure the water level is below the basket. Bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
