  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce (ensure gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 bamboo sushi mat

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then combine the rice with 1.25 cups of water in a saucepan.

Bring the water and rice to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
