Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground turkey
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Yellow onion
  • 2 minced Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Smoked paprika

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed onion and garlic, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 4

Scoop about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the turkey mixture and shape it into a small bite-sized ball, repeat this until all the mixture is used. Place each formed turkey bite on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
