Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of textured vegetable protein (TVP) with 1 cup of vegetable broth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the TVP is rehydrated and the liquid is absorbed.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the rehydrated TVP to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it starts to brown.
