Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 Garlic clove
  • 8 ounces Cremini mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme leaves, fresh
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 package Frozen dairy-free puff pastry sheets
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Cube the chicken breasts into 1/2-inch pieces and season them with salt and black pepper.

Add the chicken to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until it's cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Chop the onion and mince the garlic.

Slice the cremini mushrooms.

In a small bowl, beat the egg with the tablespoon of water to create an egg wash.
