  • 200 grams basmati rice
  • 400 milliliters water
  • 2 sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch and prevents sticking.

Step 2

In a medium-sized pot, bring 400 ml of water to a boil. Add the rinsed rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
