Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons chilled solid coconut oil
  • 10 links vegan sausage
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Warm the almond milk to about 100°F (lukewarm) and mix in the active dry yeast and coconut sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add in the olive oil, chilled coconut oil, and the yeast mixture. Also, add the apple cider vinegar at this point.

Step 3

Mix until a dough forms. The dough should be smooth and elastic. If it's too sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time.

Step 4

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a floured surface, then place it in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
