Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 1 cup Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup Coconut sugar
  • 0.5 cup Dairy-free butter substitute
  • 3 tablespoons Cold water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 6 medium Plums, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a food processor, combine almond flour, gluten-free all-purpose flour, and coconut sugar.

Step 3

Add the dairy-free butter substitute to the dry ingredients and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 4

Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, and vanilla extract. Pulse until the dough comes together.

Step 5

Turn the dough out onto a clean surface and gather it into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

Step 6

Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced plums, cornstarch, maple syrup, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Stir until well mixed and set aside.

Step 7

Once the dough is chilled, roll it out between two pieces of parchment paper into a 12-inch round, about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 8

Transfer the dough into a 9-inch tart pan and gently press it to fit. Trim the edges if necessary.

Step 9

Fill the tart shell with the plum mixture, arranging the slices neatly.

Step 10

Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Step 11

Allow the tart to cool slightly in the pan on a wire rack before serving.

Step 12

Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your dairy-free plum tart!
