Ingredients

  • 1 head Napa cabbage
  • 2 large Carrots
  • 1 large Red bell pepper
  • 4 stalks Green onions
  • 0.5 cup Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted sesame seeds
  • 0.5 cup Almonds
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the Napa cabbage and place it into a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Peel and julienne the carrots, then add them to the bowl with the cabbage.

Step 3

Core and thinly slice the red bell pepper, and chop the green onions. Add these to the bowl as well.

Step 4

Roughly chop the cilantro and add it along with the toasted sesame seeds to the mixture.

Step 5

Roughly chop the almonds and set aside.

Step 6

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, maple syrup, grated ginger, minced garlic, and black pepper.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well to coat all the ingredients evenly.
