Ingredients

  • 170 grams dairy-free dark chocolate chips
  • 80 grams coconut oil
  • 60 ml coconut milk
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 40 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and grease four ramekins thoroughly with coconut oil, then lightly dust them with cocoa powder to prevent sticking.

Step 2

In a heatproof bowl, combine the dairy-free dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Melt over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring until smooth, or melt in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring well after each, until fully melted.

Step 3

Remove from heat and stir in the coconut milk and vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until the mixture is pale and slightly thickened.
