Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground lamb or beef
  • 200 grams Frozen peas
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 medium Tomato
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 small Green chili
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro leaves
  • 100 milliliters Water

Directions

Step 1

Dice the onion and tomatoes, and finely chop the green chilies.

Step 2

Heat the coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Step 3

Add the diced onion and sauté until golden brown.

Step 4

Stir in the ginger garlic paste and green chilies, cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 5

Add the ground lamb (or beef) to the pan, cook until it browns evenly, breaking it up with a spoon.

Step 6

Mix in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, stirring well to combine.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and oil starts to separate from them, about 5 minutes.
