  • 1 large, finely chopped Onion
  • 3 minced Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch, grated Ginger
  • 1 finely chopped Green chili
  • 500 grams Ground beef or lamb
  • 2 medium, chopped Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon (or to taste) Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 100 grams Frozen peas
  • 0.5 bunch, chopped Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.

Step 3

Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chili. Cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.

Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet. Cook, breaking up any lumps, until the meat is browned.
