Ingredients

  • 250 grams Plant-based halloumi cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 units Burger buns
  • 50 grams Arugula
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 1 large Avocado
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2

Slice the plant-based halloumi cheese into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Step 3

Brush each slice of halloumi with olive oil on both sides.

Step 4

Cut the burger buns in half and lightly brush the insides with olive oil.

Step 5

Slice the tomato and red onion into thin rounds.

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mash well to make a creamy spread.
