Ingredients

  • 240 ml Almond milk
  • 7 g Active dry yeast
  • 50 g Granulated sugar
  • 80 ml Vegetable oil
  • 400 g All-purpose flour
  • 5 g Salt
  • 150 g Brown sugar
  • 15 g Ground cinnamon
  • 50 g Vegan butter

Directions

Step 1

Warm the almond milk to about 40°C (slightly warm to the touch). Pour it into a mixing bowl and sprinkle the active dry yeast over the top. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until it becomes frothy.

Step 2

Add the granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and salt to the yeast mixture, stirring to combine.

Step 3

Gradually add the all-purpose flour into the mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
