Ingredients

  • 100 grams Almond flour
  • 20 grams Cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Ground flaxseed
  • 6 tablespoons Water
  • 100 milliliters Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Espresso powder (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with a little coconut oil and line the bottom with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix the ground flaxseed with water and let it sit for about 10 minutes to thicken. This will act as your egg substitute.

Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water. Stir occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
