Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 0 for frying Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken breasts into small bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine the almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes to create an almond buttermilk.

Step 3

In a separate large bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

In another bowl, add the bread crumbs.

Dip each piece of chicken into the almond buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture, back into the buttermilk, and finally coat with the bread crumbs.
