Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 0.25 cup Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Canned coconut cream
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix well.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, warm almond milk and coconut oil over low heat until the coconut oil is melted. Do not bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Step 3

Gradually add the warm almond milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture comes together into a shaggy dough.

Add the remaining 1 cup of flour, a little at a time, kneading the dough either by hand or using a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook until it becomes smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes.
