Ingredients

  • 4 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 10 leaves fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 loaf French baguette
  • 1 drizzle optional balsamic glaze

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Dice the medium ripe tomatoes into small, even pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Finely chop the 10 fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
