  • 15 ounces, drained and rinsed canned black beans
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion, green and red bell peppers, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
