Ingredients

  • 2 slices Dairy-free cheese slices
  • 4 slices Ham slices
  • 2 tablespoons Dairy-free margarine or butter
  • 4 slices Sandwich bread
  • 2 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 1 small, sliced Tomato
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface.

Step 2

Spread one tablespoon of dairy-free margarine on one side of each bread slice.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Place two slices of bread, margarine side down, onto the skillet.

Step 5

On each slice, layer 2 slices of ham, a slice of dairy-free cheese, and half of the tomato slices.

Step 6

Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the toppings.

Step 7

Add a lettuce leaf on top of each assembled sandwich base.

Step 8

Spread a thin layer of mustard on the non-buttered side of the remaining slices of bread and place them on top of the sandwiches, mustard side down.

Press down gently with a spatula and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.
