Ingredients

  • 500 g Lamb or beef mince
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 Pita or flatbreads, dairy-free
  • 1 small Cucumber, diced
  • 2 medium Tomato, sliced
  • 1 small Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce, dairy-free

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the lamb or beef mince, minced garlic, chopped onion, olive oil, cumin, oregano, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed.

Step 2

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned meat to the skillet and cook, stirring often, until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Step 3

While the meat is cooking, prepare the vegetables: dice the cucumber, slice the tomatoes, and thinly slice the red onion. Chop the parsley and set all aside.
