Ingredients

  • 12 oz Fettuccine noodles
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Add the fettuccine noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually 10 to 12 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Step 3

While the noodles are cooking, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 4

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until it becomes fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Once the noodles are done, reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water and then drain the noodles.
