Directions

Step 1

Begin by cooking the tapioca pearls: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.

Step 2

Add the tapioca pearls to the boiling water and stir gently. Cook for about 20-25 minutes or until they are translucent and chewy on the outside, but still slightly firm inside.

Step 3

Once cooked, remove the saucepan from heat and let the pearls sit for another 15 minutes in the hot water.

Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse with cold water for a minute. Set aside the pearls in a bowl.
