Ingredients

  • 24 pieces Dairy-Free Ladyfingers
  • 180 ml Brewed Espresso (or strong coffee)
  • 200 grams Dairy-Free Dark Chocolate
  • 400 ml Coconut Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 60 ml Almond Liqueur (optional)
  • 30 grams Dairy-Free Chocolate Shavings (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Start by making the chocolate cream. Add the dairy-free dark chocolate into a heatproof bowl and melt it over a pot of simmering water (bain-marie) or in a microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, whip the coconut cream until it reaches soft peaks. Make sure to use only the solid part of refrigerated coconut cream for the best texture.

Step 3

Gently fold the melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and maple syrup into the whipped coconut cream until thoroughly combined. Set aside.

Step 4

Prepare the espresso by brewing it fresh. If using almond liqueur, mix it with the brewed espresso.

Step 5

Dip each dairy-free ladyfinger quickly into the espresso mixture, ensuring both sides are soaked but the ladyfinger is not too soggy.

Step 6

Layer the bottom of a serving dish (approximately 8x8 inches) with soaked ladyfingers.

Step 7

Spread half of the chocolate cream over the layer of ladyfingers, smoothing it out evenly.

Step 8

Repeat the layers: another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining chocolate cream spread on top.

Step 9

Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight for better flavor infusion and firming.

Step 10

Just before serving, dust the tiramisu with cocoa powder and garnish with dairy-free chocolate shavings.

Step 11

Cut into portions and serve chilled.
