Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons scallions
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.

Step 2

Core and slice the red, green, and yellow bell peppers into thin strips.

Step 3

Peel and slice the onion into thin wedges.

Step 4

Mince the garlic cloves and grate the fresh ginger.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water until well combined. Set aside.
