  • 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices and lay them out on a baking sheet.

Step 3

Brush one side of each slice with extra virgin olive oil using a pastry brush.

Step 4

Place the slices into the oven and bake for about 5 minutes or until they start to turn lightly golden and crisp.
