Ingredients

  • 2 sheets dairy-free puff pastry sheets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 250 grams fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 150 grams dairy-free feta cheese
  • 100 grams dairy-free cream cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Step 3

Add the chopped spinach to the pan and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 4

In a large bowl, combine the cooked spinach, dairy-free feta cheese, dairy-free cream cheese, nutmeg, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Roll out the dairy-free puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into 8 even squares, making a total of 16 squares.

Place about 1 tablespoon of the spinach filling onto the center of each pastry square.
