Ingredients

  • 150 grams Raw almonds
  • 500 grams Broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 large Garlic cloves
  • 1 liter Vegetable broth
  • 500 milliliters Water
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Nutritional yeast

Directions

Step 1

Soak the raw almonds in hot water for about 30 minutes to soften them.

Step 2

While the almonds are soaking, chop the onion and garlic.

Step 3

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the broccoli florets to the pot and sauté for another 5 minutes.
