Wash the spinach thoroughly, drain, and chop roughly.
Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic to the onion and sauté for an additional 1 minute.
