In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the coconut oil over low to medium heat until it is fully melted.
Add the chickpea flour (besan) to the melted coconut oil, stirring continuously to avoid any lumps. Cook for about 20-25 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly, until the flour becomes golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
Remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes.
