Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 12 pieces Large button mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup, finely chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly and remove the stems. Set them aside.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 4

Take a small amount of the beef mixture and press it flat in your hand, then wrap it around a mushroom cap, ensuring the mushroom is completely encased in the meat.

Repeat with the remaining mushrooms and beef mixture.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Gently place the beef-wrapped mushrooms into the skillet and sear each side for about 2 minutes until browned.

Step 7

Transfer the seared mushrooms to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.

Step 10

Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
