Ingredients

  • 3 whole Scotch bonnet peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 6 whole Green onions
  • 4 whole Garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons Ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Remove the stems from the scotch bonnet peppers and place them in a blender. If you prefer a less spicy sauce, you can remove the seeds.

Add the brown sugar, green onions (cut into thirds), peeled garlic cloves, fresh thyme, ground allspice, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to the blender.
