  • 4 medium Potatoes
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 inch piece Ginger

  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes and set aside in a bowl of water to prevent browning.

Finely chop the onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and green chili. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and cook until they start to sizzle.
