  • 2 cups Green cabbage, shredded

  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 20 Egg roll wrappers
  • 4 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 Egg, beaten (for sealing wrappers)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground pork. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess grease.

Step 2

Add the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, green onions, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.

Step 3

Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and ground ginger. Mix thoroughly, then remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

Step 4

To assemble the egg rolls, lay one egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing toward you (like a diamond shape). Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near the center of the wrapper.
