  • 2 medium jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish
  • 1 cup sour cream, for serving
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, for serving
  • 1 bag corn chips, for serving

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
