  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 0.75 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil (for frying)
  • 0.25 cups Tahini
  • 3 tablespoons Water (for dressing)
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (for dressing)
  • 1 teaspoons Maple syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt (for dressing)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked jasmine rice, chickpea flour, curry powder, ground cumin, paprika, chopped cilantro, green onions, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Mix the ingredients well until they bind together. The mixture should feel slightly sticky. If it’s too dry, add a splash of water, 1 tablespoon at a time.

Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties about 3 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick. You should get about 8-10 patties.
