  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.25 teaspoons Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 Lime wedges (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the tequila, lime juice, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 2

Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the wire rack with cooking spray.
