Ingredients

  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 2 medium Roma tomatoes
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 1 medium Jalapeño pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cumin

Directions

Step 1

Wash all produce thoroughly under cold running water.

Step 2

Peel the English cucumber if desired (optional). Finely dice the cucumber and add it to a medium mixing bowl.

Step 3

Core and dice the Roma tomatoes, removing the seeds if preferred for a less watery salsa. Add to the bowl.

Step 4

Finely dice the small red onion and add it to the bowl with the cucumber and tomatoes.

Step 5

Remove the stem of the jalapeño pepper, slice it in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds and membrane for a milder heat. Finely chop and add to the bowl.

Chop the fresh cilantro leaves and stir them into the mixture.
