Ingredients

  • 2 cups Plain yogurt
  • 1 medium Cucumber
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 10 leaves Fresh mint leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 small Green chili (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Cilantro leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Peel the cucumber and finely chop it or grate it as per your preference.

Wash the tomato, remove the seeds for a less watery raita, and finely dice it.

Step 3

Finely chop the fresh mint leaves. If using green chili, finely chop it as well.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, add the plain yogurt and whisk it until smooth and creamy.
