  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 0.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Dredge each piece of cube steak in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess, and set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the cube steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steaks and set them aside.
