Ingredients

  • 2 loaves Cuban bread or hoagie rolls
  • 1 pound Roast pork
  • 0.5 pounds Sliced deli ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices Dill pickles
  • 0.25 cup Yellow mustard
  • 0.25 cup Butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a panini press or large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Slice the Cuban bread loaves in half lengthwise.

Step 3

Spread a thin layer of yellow mustard on the inside of each bread half.

Step 4

Layer the roast pork evenly on the bottom halves of the bread.

Step 5

Add the sliced deli ham on top of the roast pork layers.

Step 6

Place Swiss cheese slices over the ham.

Step 7

Add dill pickle slices evenly across the cheese.

Step 8

Cover the sandwiches with the top halves of the bread.

Step 9

Melt butter in a microwave or a small saucepan.

Step 10

Brush the melted butter over the outsides of the sandwiches.

Place the sandwiches in the panini press or skillet. If using a skillet, use another heavy pan to press the sandwich down.

Cook for about 5 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Flip the sandwich midway if using a skillet.
