Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
