Ingredients

  • 200 grams salmon (cooked and flaked)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 125 ml milk
  • 120 grams cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
  • 2 stalks green onions (sliced)
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon butter or oil (for greasing the pan)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan with butter or oil.

Step 2

If using raw salmon, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, then flake it into small pieces. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined.

Step 4

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, salmon, chopped dill, and sliced green onions. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper, and mix to distribute the ingredients evenly.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish, spreading it out into an even layer. Use a spatula to ensure the salmon and cheese are distributed evenly throughout the dish.

Step 6

Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the quiche is lightly golden around the edges.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let the quiche rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Step 8

Serve warm with a side salad or as part of a breakfast spread. Enjoy!
