Ingredients

  • 200 grams All-purpose flour
  • 100 grams Unsalted butter (cold, diced)
  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cold water
  • 200 grams Creamy peanut butter
  • 100 grams Powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 50 grams Crushed peanuts (unsalted)
  • 50 grams Chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a 12-cup tart tin or line it with paper cases.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and granulated sugar. Add the diced cold butter and rub it into the flour using your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add the cold water, one tablespoon at a time, and mix until a dough forms. Do not overwork the dough.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 3mm (1/8 inch) thick. Using a round cookie cutter slightly larger than the tart tin holes, cut out 12 circles.
